28 Families were identified and adopted this year.  In one day, over 825 gifts were purchased and wrapped, then delivered to the families.  Thank you to all that have supported this effort, through donations of money, time, services, and products.  We literally could not do it without you!  Enjoy the pictures and thank you for making this possible! This was our biggest event yet, both in amount of money spent and number of people that received gifts this holiday season.  Thanks to all of your donations and the tireless efforts of the Board of Directors and our many volunteers... Anna's Wish has chosen to continue to support the PlayDeck at Golisano's Children Hospital because it is such an important respite for families and children dealing with sickness.  Thank you for all who help make this possible! We attempted our biggest shopping day in the history of the charity on Sunday, December 9.  Thanks to all of the generous donors, the AW board for organizing the day, the relentless shoppers, and the tireless wrappers.... it was a HUGE success!!! [gallery link="file" columns="8" orderby="title"]

When Anna was an inpatient at the Golisano's Children's Hospital, one of her favorite things to do was to wake up in the morning, go outside to the playdeck and read a book or sit on mommy or daddy's lap and look around.  It was an escape from the endless beeping of machines, poking, and prodding.  She used to borrow my belt, wrap it around her IV pole and pull it down the hallway, LOVING the fact that the staff was not used to seeing  4 year old pull their…

Anna's Wish recently partnered with Chance To Dance to create goody bags for pediatric cancer patients attending a Valentine's Day Party on Long Island.  The bags were put together by the Chance To Dance team and delivered to the hospital and hopefully brought smiles to the faces of these little warriors.
